Candida Stevens Gallery is pleased to announce Alice Kettle: More Threads which brings together a selection of work by the highly-regarded textile artist Alice Kettle and compliments the exhibition, Alice Kettle: Threads at the Gallery, Winchester Discovery Centre (28 October 2017 – 14 January 2018).
With the Threads exhibition at WDC, Alice Kettle: More Threads forms a mini retrospective exhibition on two sites, celebrating Alice’s artistic journey in stitch, telling stories with thread which connect with her to her roots in the Hampshire. Born and living in Winchester, her work is also familiar to those local to Chichester, where she has exhibited regularly with Candida Stevens Gallery and at Pallant House Gallery.
Candida Stevens Gallery is publishing a catalogue to accompany both exhibitions featuring critical writing by name and name alongside high quality reproductions of works from each exhibition.
