New Generation — Design for Living
Design Manchester
2016

A two-day conference with presentations and workshops, co-curated with Alice Kettle and Age-Friendly Manchester.

The New Generation — Design for Living event looked at the challenges and opportunities in designing our city from intergenerational perspectives. Our aim was to identify new possibilities for intergenerational collaboration, exploring how our city is re-imagined, designed and inhabited by future communities. The symposium was hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University with Design Manchester, Age-Friendly Manchester, Manchester City Council and the Co-op.

The conference and extended activity was documented by film,  Huw Wahl
