Written by a team of the most important and influential names in the field, Machine Stitch Perspectives explores the creative potential of stitch through the use of a variety of machines. Alice Kettle is one of the UK’s finest textile artists and was formerly a Senior Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University. Jane McKeating was Embroidery Programme Leader at Manchester Metropolitan University and is currently Director of Studies, and she is a key figure in the embroidery and textiles field.
